Leopoldt Harvey

Born: 10/03/1894

Leo Harvey, father of Sinclair and owner of Happy Valley

Leo married Stella Louise Trollope, a descendant of a well-known 1820 settler family. They lived on the portion of Mimosa Glen called Happy Valley, adjacent to Hillside and the farms owned by Douglas and George. Leo and George farmed with dairy cows and initially sold butter and cream and later, fresh milk. Leo and Stella had four children, namely Sinclair Gordon, Mavis, Nancy and Beulah. Leo and Stella lived at Happy Valley until their deaths, after which the last portion of Mimosa Glen was sold out of the family.
